These vibrant 3D visuals were developed as part of a festive promotional concept for Argos, capturing the energy, excitement and convenience of seasonal shopping with the brand. Playfully exaggerated and full of detail, the scenes are designed to create instant impact — blending storytelling with stylised realism to engage viewers and elevate the campaign message.
The first execution transforms an Argos store into a gift in itself, bursting from a festive box with confetti, ribbon, and a warm sense of theatre. By positioning the store layout within the packaging, it visually reinforces the idea of unwrapping joy, while also showcasing the in-store experience in a fun, imaginative way. Every element was carefully modelled and arranged to maintain recognisable branding, character scale, and a balance of product and environment — all with a strong sense of movement and celebration.
The second visual flips the perspective, featuring an Argos delivery van springing out of a torn parcel with the same sense of explosive energy. Here, the concept celebrates convenience and speed — reinforcing the message that Argos brings the magic directly to your door. The flowing ribbon, curling around the scene like a red carpet, adds dynamism and direction, helping to guide the viewer's eye and suggesting a seamless journey from store to customer.
Created entirely in Cinema 4D and rendered with V-Ray, these pieces allowed for precise control over lighting, materials, and camera work. Great attention was paid to material finishes, reflections, and festive detail — from metallic foils to realistic ribbon textures — ensuring the end result felt polished and on-brand.
While developed as a speculative concept, the project showcases the potential of 3D to create eye-catching, campaign-ready visuals that tell a story at a glance. It’s a celebration of what’s possible when retail meets creativity — and a reminder that sometimes the packaging is the present.
