SCREWFIX FORTRESS | Blackdog | 3D Visualising
SCREWFIX | Creative Concept Visuals | Trade Ready Realism
This self-initiated 3D packaging visualisation was developed to present a full range of Fortress Trade products in a highly polished, production-ready format. The goal: to capture a sense of rugged practicality, clear branding, and a clean, commercial finish suitable for retail, print, and digital campaign use.
The scene was modelled and rendered entirely in Cinema 4D with V-Ray, focusing on accuracy in every detail — from the crimped edges of the paint tins to the bevelled handles of the trade tools. Each item was created to real-world scale, giving the assets maximum flexibility across multiple formats including e-commerce listings, point of sale, and promotional video content.
The clean white environment was chosen to emulate a typical Screwfix catalogue or website background, ensuring the products remained the focal point. Shadows and reflections were carefully controlled to create a sense of realistic weight and grounding, without overpowering the composition.
This kind of visualisation plays a vital role in pre-launch marketing, allowing brands to showcase their new ranges before physical products exist. It also offers long-term use for internal presentations, sales tools, and packaging approvals. Every brush bristle, paint tin seam, and print surface was carefully considered to ensure brand consistency and product appeal.
Projects like this demonstrate the value of 3D visualising for retail and FMCG sectors, where realism, speed, and accuracy are essential for stakeholder sign-off and consumer trust.
